We would like to introduce a case study of a company engaged in the manufacturing, sales, and reprocessing of tape frames used in the dicing process of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, which utilized subsidies. The company was required to enhance its production capacity to meet the strong demand for tape frame reprocessing. Additionally, it needed to automate tasks that previously required two workers on the existing line to address the difficulty of securing personnel. After the purchase, the production capacity increased to 1 million units per year, double that of the previous level. By automating the input process, operations could be managed by a single person, achieving labor savings. Total sales doubled compared to before the improvements, reaching 400 million yen in the fiscal year ending March 2023.
