To achieve high precision finishing through cylindrical grinding, the key point is how to hold the workpiece without any runout on the cylindrical grinding machine. In this case, high-precision center holes are machined on both end faces, and the workpiece is held using a tailstock for high-precision machining. Performing fine processing on carbide, which does not hold an edge, is accomplished through profile grinding, which specializes in fine groove processing. "Profile" originally refers to the contour, but profile grinding is a process where the contour is projected onto a projection plate magnified about 50 times, allowing for precise positioning and grinding. The shape of the protrusions at the micron level can be accurately finished through such high-precision grinding. Gotoh Seiki Co., Ltd. utilizes the latest CAD/CAM technology and machining centers to perform machining of complex shapes, three-dimensional shapes, and high-precision parts. We respond to requirements using technology honed in the fields of cameras, optical devices, and semiconductors, including geometric tolerances such as flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity, as well as dimensional tolerances like hole diameters and pitches, and surface roughness. The materials we process include metals such as aluminum (A5052, A6061, A2017, A7075, etc.), brass, magnesium, zinc alloys, and copper alloys, particularly ADC12 and ZDC2 for mass production die casting. We also maintain a constant stock of die casting plates for processing that are the same material as those used in mass production, allowing for testing during prototype development. For resins, we handle ABS, POM (including sliding grade and conductive grade), PC, PC-G, PET, PBT, PPS, PPS-G, PES, PMMA, PEEK, PP, and PPE. For more details, please contact us.
