In Thailand's invoicing system, it is mandatory to create a Tax Invoice and submit it to the customer at the time of shipping products that are subject to tax points. The Tax Invoice cannot be created freely; the items that must be included in the document are clearly defined by the Thai Revenue Department. If these items are not included or if there are errors in the information provided, the customer will not be able to claim input tax deductions, so caution is required. Conversely, as long as the specified items are covered, companies are free to decide the layout of the document.
