This is a CrC/25wt%NiCr thermal spray material produced by the granulation and sintering method. 【Device Overview】 This is a new thermal spraying device developed through joint research with Oshima National College of Maritime Technology and Oita National College of Technology, which resolves the issues of conventional HVAF (High Velocity Air Fuel) and lowers the gas temperature to a level comparable to traditional cold spray using inert gases. 【Features】 ○ The gas temperature can be selected between 450°C and 800°C. ○ The operating gas is combustion gas from kerosene and compressed air. Since nitrogen and helium are not used, significant reductions in operating costs are possible. ○ The operating pressure varies depending on the compressor and other equipment used. ○ It is capable of processing powders that are less than a few micrometers in size, which have poor fluidity and are prone to agglomeration. ○ The powder is fed axially. 【Operating Costs】 Approximately 1,500 yen per hour (when using a 37KW compressor).
