In the case of a certain sake brewery discussed here, they wanted to suction drains over 80°C from a heat exchanger at high vacuum with existing equipment, but they faced the following challenges: 1. Large amounts of cooling water are required for drain temperatures above 80°C. 2. Increasing the high vacuum level causes back pressure on the water supply pump, leading to frequent failures.
