Cosmetics Hexapeptide for strengthening intercellular adhesion and maintaining skin homeostasis.

It promotes the production of the protein desmoglein-1, which is involved in cell adhesion, and activates the communication necessary for maintaining skin homeostasis.

Maintaining skin homeostasis relies heavily on intercellular communication. CellCon promotes the production of the intercellular adhesion protein desmoglein-1, actively enhancing the communication necessary for maintaining skin homeostasis. <In Vitro> Promotion of desmoglein-1 gene expression: +150% or more Suppression of sebum production: -15% Increase in skin moisture levels: +13% Suppression of moisture evaporation: -6%

Tohoku Univ. Technology : Novel Peptide Inhibitors for Alzheimer’s disease: T21-307

Notch‑Sparing Modulation of γ‑Secretase by Three‑Finger Toxins

Amyloid-β (Aβ) accumulation is a key driver of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). While γ-secretase inhibitors (GSIs) have long been pursued as therapeutics, safety issues have prevented their clinical adoption. Using AlphaFold2–based in-silico screening, the inventors discovered that Three-Finger Toxins (3FTXs)—disulfide-rich peptides from snake venom—potently block γ-secretase–mediated APP processing. Strong inhibitory activity was confirmed in both yeast-based assays and a β-galactosidase reporter system. Brain-targeted AAV vectors for 3FTX expression are currently under development, with evaluation in AD model mice planned. Acting at sites distinct from traditional GSIs, 3FTXs offer a novel and promising approach for AD prevention and treatment.

Cosmetic ingredient Elastin for elasticity improvement with reconstructed pentapeptide Elacelf.

A pentapeptide synthesized by mimicking the fragment of MFAP4. It recognizes damage, stimulates the production of MFAP4, and reconstructs elastin.

Elaself is a pentapeptide (valine-serine-glycine-isoleucine-arginine) synthesized to mimic a fragment of MFAP4. MFAP4 is necessary for binding fibrillin chains to form microfibrils. These microfibrils are then further modified to become mature elastic fibers (elastin). <In Vitro> MFAP4 gene expression (+30%) Collagen type I gene expression (+30%) Increased intracellular collagen levels in NHDF cells (20-60%) Increased elastin levels <In Vivo> Improvement in skin elasticity (R2: 20%, R5: 25%) Reduction in wrinkle depth (-40%)

Peptide Balance Service

Estimation of the neighboring suitable amino acids based on 4 residues!

The "Peptide Balance Service" is a service that analyzes the primary structure of peptides and peptide fragments using our developed algorithm, the TY Symmetry Method, and performs optimizations of sequences. When the molecular weights of each amino acid are decomposed using the Fibonacci sequence, known for its golden ratio, they become closer to the characteristics of secondary structures. From this, it is understood that peptides have a mathematical symmetry, and this service balances amino acids, which act as weights, similar to balancing a car's tires. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*
