[Processing Example] Precision Special Burring Processing

Skilled technicians design special jigs and complete the process by measuring and correcting the twist one spot at a time!

We would like to introduce an example of a precision sheet metal part that has a complex shape and strict tolerances, making it highly challenging. This product requires a specific height for the beading to fasten the counterpart part, and the accuracy of the outer dimensions is also stringent. At us, we produced several types of blanks with holes of different diameters drilled every 0.1mm and conducted test machining. As a result, we were able to identify the suitable pilot hole diameter and satisfy the tolerances for both the beading diameter and height. Our company can design and manufacture molds and jigs suitable for the product based on the experience of our skilled technicians, allowing us to complete high-precision products. If you are facing challenges with precision sheet metal processing of thin plates with strict accuracy, please feel free to contact us. 【Overview】 ■Material: SUS301-1/2H ■Size: 50×30mm ■Thickness: t0.8 ■Accuracy: ±0.05 ■Quantity: 15 ■Delivery time: 10 days *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Cost reduction by switching from nut welding to bar lapping (method conversion).

【Method Change】Switching from nut welding to bar rolling enables cost reduction!

The decisive difference between nut welding and burring (screw) processing is whether process integration is possible. "Nut welding" is a separate process using a different machine, while "burring + screw processing" can be integrated with blank processing, leading to cost reduction. When connecting parts where strength is not required, switching to burring processing allows for a reduction in the number of components, a reduction in man-hours, and the possibility of process integration using laser combination machines. Additionally, it can reduce the distortion that occurs during welding, contributing to the stabilization of quality. 【Features】 ■ Burring + screw processing can be integrated with blank processing ■ Reduction in the number of components and man-hours leads to cost reduction ■ Switching from welding brings significant benefits *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Barling

Burring process, tapping process, rolled taps

Burring and tapping processes are essential for sheet metal work. We can accommodate all sizes. We have a wide variety of burring molds, so please specify even if you have special sizes. If we do not have the size in stock, we can arrange for molds on the same day and respond with a short lead time. We support tapping processes for all sizes from M1.6 to M10. In prototyping, there are often special sizes, so we have a complete set of taps available. With the introduction of the latest turret punch (AE255), rolling taps can now be produced using machine tools. Since no chips are generated, it is ideal for precision parts and similar applications.

What is 'burring processing for screw holes in plates'!? *Technical documentation giveaway!

This is a technical document about the processing technology "Burring Process," which enables screw hole machining on thin plates!

This is a technical document explaining the burring process. Generally, machining screw holes and tapping in thin plates is difficult, but by performing burring, it becomes possible to process screw holes in thin plates. 【Published Information】 ■ What is burring? ■ Introduction to technology from pilot hole processing to burring ■ Example of standard burring (plate thickness 1.6 mm, M6 rolled tap) ■ Example of thick burring (plate thickness 1.6 mm, M6 rolled tap) *For the technical document on burring, please view the PDF data available for download.
