What is phenolic resin?

Two types: "Novolak type" and "Resole type"! The reaction progresses and hardens by heating!

"Phenolic resin" is a type of resin that is mainly classified into two categories. The "Novolac type" is reacted with an acidic catalyst, and it is not reactive on its own.
