Q: What are the disadvantages? A: It is just less prone to hydrolysis compared to ester-based polyurethane, but it does not mean it is completely resistant to hydrolysis. Also, if you are using tap water, please be cautious of the residual chlorine effects. Since carbon is used as the conductive material, the tube is only available in black.
