Considering the characteristics of the workpiece, we proposed a circular blade made from a steel type that excels in the balance of wear resistance and toughness. Additionally, since the customer's equipment has a grinding mechanism, we designed the blade tip as a single-step blade to facilitate easy sharpening when the cutting performance declines. Regarding the cutting blades for magnet sheets (steel rubber sheets), we would like to introduce a case we received inquiries about. Due to the presence of iron powder, standard carbon steel cutter blades wear out quickly, losing their sharpness after just a few minutes of continuous cutting. Therefore, we at Arus proposed blades made from ultra-fine particle alloy. These blades have a durability that is 10 to 20 times greater than that of standard razor blades, making it easy to cut not only the relevant sheets but also functional fibers such as aramid fibers. We would like to introduce a case where a carbide cutter blade was supplied for cutting polyurethane insulation material that has aluminum foil laminated on the surface. While standard blade materials can cut polyurethane without any issues, we prioritized the hardness of the blade due to the aluminum composite material and selected carbide alloy. If conditions are met, using a carbide blade can provide durability up to 20 times that of carbon steel (SK material).
