The compressor cylinder is expensive. Therefore, instead of scrapping it, we recommend reusing it through thermal spraying. Are you struggling with repairs due to damage to the bearing fitting caused by creep? Especially with large rolls, replacing the shaft can be difficult. Traditionally, replacing the shaft, manufacturing bushings, and repairing with hard chrome plating were common methods, but all of these repair methods involve high costs and long lead times. With "thermal spray repair," it can be completed in a short time and at a low cost. Additionally, the thermal spray coating is "porous," which means it has good compatibility with oil and excellent lubrication properties. We would like to introduce our "heat-resistant and wear-resistant coating." It has excellent heat resistance with a temperature tolerance of 900°C and outstanding wear resistance that is three times better than Cr3C2. It also possesses a density comparable to Cr3C2 and WC, with a porosity of less than 1%. Additionally, it is expected to be applicable to a variety of products, such as molten metal transfer rolls and turbine components.
