The ultrafiltration membrane (UF membrane) "Desarl" is a spiral-shaped UF membrane. Its shape is identical to that of reverse osmosis membranes (RO membranes). The price per unit area is lower compared to hollow fiber membranes. It enables separation in a relatively small molecular weight range compared to conventional ultrafiltration membranes (UF membranes). It is used not only for the separation of target and non-target substances in various processes but also for wastewater treatment and pure water processing. The ion exchange resin "chelate resin" selectively retains metal ions by forming chelates between the exchange groups and metal ions, rather than through adsorption via ion exchange, within its effective pH range. The weakly basic anion exchange resin "tertiary amine group" is an anion exchange resin that has a weakly basic tertiary amine -N+(CH3)2 as its exchange group. In the acidic region where pH < 7, it coordinates with Cl- to form the Cl- type, but in the region where pH > 7, it does not form the OH- type, and a pair of free electrons remains on the tertiary amine group (free base).
