Torex Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has received the "Encouragement Award" at the "2023 'Super' Manufacturing Parts Awards" organized by the Monozukuri Japan Conference / Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun. The award-winning product, the "XC9145 Series," is a compact, high-efficiency boost DC/DC converter with an ultra-low quiescent current of 400nA. By utilizing a super low quiescent current circuit, the consumption current is reduced to 400nA, and by adopting PWM/PFM control methods, the efficiency at light loads, particularly at output currents of several microamperes, has improved by 50-60% compared to typical DC/DC converters.

We are launching a new series of 10 products in the Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) category. We have expanded our lineup by adding 5 products that can handle high-speed signals and 5 products that can accommodate power lines. The TVS devices are implemented close to external interfaces to protect the ICs located downstream from electrostatic discharge. The five products XBP1002, XBP1004, XBP1006, XBP1008, and XBP1009 have low terminal capacitance and are suitable for high-speed signal lines, making them ideal for protecting lines such as USB2.0, USB3.0, HDMI, and LVDS. The XBP1010, XBP1011, and XBP1013 are compatible with 5V power, the XBP1012 is for 12V power, and the XBP1007 is for 24V power, allowing them to be selected for signal line and power line protection in applications such as AV equipment.
