Introducing new CoaXPress cameras equipped with Sony's 4th generation global shutter CMOS sensor, available in 5 million, 20 million, and 24 million pixels! The 4th generation sensor (Pregius S sensor) incorporates a back-illuminated structure, allowing for smaller pixel sizes (2.74×2.74μm) and faster frame rates compared to the conventional Pregius sensor. When compared to cameras with pixel sizes larger than 2.74×2.74μm at the same sensor size, cameras equipped with the Pregius S sensor can capture the entire image of the subject with fewer exposures. Additionally, our 5 million pixel camera can achieve high-speed image transmission at 101 fps, the 20 million pixel camera at 79.6 fps, and the 24 million pixel camera at 21.9 fps. This makes them ideal for various inspection applications that require precise imaging in a short time. Furthermore, the CoaXPress interface allows for data transmission, camera control, and power supply through a single coaxial cable, contributing to space and cost savings even in applications using multiple cameras.

ToF cameras can obtain 3D information in real-time within a measurement range of 15cm to 70cm or 30cm to 5m. The differences in distance are represented by a gradient from red to blue, making them well-suited for applications such as checking the loading status of items, measuring dimensions and volume, and monitoring operations in logistics environments. Additionally, these cameras are equipped with light sources, allowing them to be used in environments without lighting. CXP cameras with Pregius sensors, available in both low and high pixel counts, can capture high-quality images with low noise due to the characteristics of the sensors. By adopting a global shutter method, they can capture fast-moving subjects without distortion, making them ideal for use in logistics environments where there is a lot of movement.

CoaXPress-over-Fiber (CoF) is an interface that supports transmission via optical fiber as an extension of the existing CoaXPress specifications. The "VCC-21CoF1" series, which is the first to adopt CoF from CIS, enables ultra-high-speed image transmission of 425 fps with a high resolution of 21 million pixels by using QSFP+ (40G) ×2, thereby improving work efficiency in applications such as machine vision. 【Benefits of CoF】 ■ Ultra-fast image transmission with a wide bandwidth Maximum bandwidth of 5,000 MB/s from the camera to the host PC memory. ■ Cable length Fiber connections essentially have no limitations on cable length, allowing for flexible cable routing tailored to customer applications.
