This time, for contributions to the development of the hybrid drill "CFRTP, GFRTP, UD materials Hybrid Drill 'Zero Valley Fiber'" in the field of chemistry, which specializes in drills designed for materials that are weak and soft like thermoplastic resins, our company, Giken Co., Ltd. (Yoshikazu Ishikawa), received the Special Award! The Grand Prize was awarded to Hirotaka Uchiki, Vice President of Fukui University and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, for his achievements in advancing basic research leading to the development of therapeutic drugs for amyloidosis, a specified intractable disease that causes conditions such as Alzheimer's disease.
