Using an air diaphragm pump, collect waste oil like a vacuum cleaner!

● Collecting waste oil like a vacuum cleaner We received a consultation from a user who wanted to collect waste oil like a vacuum cleaner, and we proposed the air diaphragm pump, which was adopted. 1. Want to collect a small amount of liquid 2. Needs self-priming capability and wants to collect waste oil like a vacuum cleaner 3. Also wants to collect slurry liquid 4. The collection and disposal locations are far apart 5. Can cover multiple collection locations with one unit (portable) We addressed the above five points by using the air diaphragm pump and making it easy to transport with a cart design. ● Waste oil accumulated in a drum can be discharged simply by switching the valve There is no need to lift the drum and carry it to the disposal location. With just the operation of the valve, it is possible to transfer the contents of the drum directly.

[Case Study] Recovery of Floating Matter from Paint Factory Wastewater

We will reliably collect and transport solid objects, regardless of their size or shape!

● The shape and size of solid materials are variable, and the wastewater contains mixed solvents for the recovery of suspended solids. In the wastewater treatment of a painting factory, the recovery of floating solids when two lines of wastewater mixed in the pit has been a challenge. The painting wastewater contains solvent-based components, and the suspended solids vary in shape and size. Despite such conditions, our floating solid recovery pump skimmer, the 【H-FR】, is performing excellently. ● It reliably follows water surface fluctuations and water flow. The wastewater treatment capacity is 1 ton per hour, and although there were significant fluctuations in the water surface and water flow, it is reliably transporting solids. There have been no adverse effects from the solvents, and the two units are operating alternately to continuously recover solids from the wastewater for 24 hours.

【Case Study】Recovery of Sludge from Coolant Tank

Collecting waste oil like a vacuum cleaner! Designed with a cart for easier operation, considering the maneuverability for the workers.

At the factory you requested, coolant sludge was collected and cleaned approximately once a quarter using a vacuum truck, but the quality degradation caused by the sludge before the vacuum truck arrived was a problem. Therefore, you consulted about whether there was a simple pump that could be used for collection, and we proposed the air diaphragm ADD type (cart specification). This product is convenient when you want to operate coolant sludge from various locations within the factory with a single pump. The cart itself can hold a drum, and it is equipped with an air three-point set, hose fittings, etc., considering the ease of handling for the operators. [Case Study] Recovery and Circulation Filtration of Floating Oil with Self-Priming Pump

Using an existing self-priming pump to collect floating oil!

●Recovery of floating oil using a self-priming pump "I would like to recover floating oil using an existing self-priming chemical pump (from another manufacturer)." To meet the customer's request, we modified the float of our floating oil recovery skimmer and delivered it. We attached a custom-made suction inlet and hose attachment to the float, which is floated on the target water, enabling the recovery of oil using a self-priming pump. We were able to meet the request for "as low cost as possible," resulting in a satisfactory outcome for the customer. ●After transfer, filtration and circulation process The user originally had a self-priming filter from Company W, but with the expansion, it became necessary to recover the floating oil in the newly added tank. They were considering reusing the existing self-priming filter (pump) for the expansion to reduce initial costs. However, due to the high price of the float (parts only) from Company W, they consulted with us, and after thorough specification discussions, our solution was adopted.

[Case Study] Oil Recovery from Narrow Pits (High Temperature)

Leave the recovery of floating oil to us, even in narrow spaces and with high-temperature fluids!

●We want to recover floating oil from high-temperature wastewater in a narrow pit. Until now, workers have been recovering oil from the high-temperature wastewater accumulating in the pit using tools like a "hishaku" (a ladle). Due to the high temperature and the dangers of working above the pit, they were troubled about how to recover the floating oil. Therefore, H2 proposed a combination of the ADD type air diaphragm for high temperatures and a custom-made recovery float. This was accepted after a satisfactory demonstration on-site. ●The float was manufactured to fit the pit, made entirely of SUS316 material. We determined the float size to fit the narrow pit, and since it would be exposed to corrosive liquids and high temperatures, it was constructed entirely of SUS316. The processing of the funnel part of the float was particularly challenging, but we completed it without issues. H2 offers the "H-FR" series of pump skimmers, but if the size does not fit or if material considerations are necessary, we can flexibly accommodate custom requests. A certain company was concerned about damage to their denitrification equipment caused by tiny slurries mixed into the urea solution supplied to the equipment, and they requested the production of a simple filtration device. By implementing a three-stage filtration process consisting of pre-filtration, mid-stage filtration, and post-filtration, we were able to extend the life of the filters while ensuring the reliable removal of impurities. Additionally, we created bypass piping for versatile use, allowing for flexible operation, such as omitting pre-filtration in certain situations. [Case Study] Pre-filtration of Purified Water System

Cost reduced by half. Quality is the same!

● Significant Cost Benefits The user was using a 500mm 5μ string-wound filter cartridge as a pre-filter for their pure water system. In light of a cost review for the filter cartridges currently in use (replaced 2-3 times a week), they evaluated our string-wound filter cartridges. It was determined that our cartridges could be used without any loss of quality compared to the existing manufacturer's products, leading to the decision to switch to our cost-effective solution. ● Costs Reduced by Half. Quality is Equivalent. Our cartridges were priced at half the cost of the existing products, which initially raised concerns about inferior quality. However, the evaluation confirmed that the quality was indeed equivalent. At H2, we recommend providing samples for testing to customers considering switching filter cartridges. To alleviate concerns about low-cost products being of poor quality, we encourage customers to verify the equivalent quality in real-world applications before making a decision to implement our solution.

【Case Study】Manufacturing of Purified Water for Dilution of Pharmaceuticals

● Emphasis on Quality and Cost Performance We are considering a pure water system for drug dilution. After consulting with the equipment manufacturer, we proposed an ion exchange pure water system, which was adopted. We used a conductivity meter (EC meter) from Technomorioka and set it to issue an error signal when the upper limit (1.0μS/m) is reached via an analog signal. Initially, we planned for a water collection volume of about 8000L, but it turned out to be nearly double at around 14000L, resulting in a satisfactory outcome for the user. ● Quick Response for Ion Exchange Resin Regeneration Regeneration of the ion exchange resin can be done in about a week after the return of the canister. Of course, we can also offer proposals for regeneration costs that excel in cost performance. Additionally, H2 can design and construct RO pure water systems.

[Case Study] Filtration of High-Temperature Bonding Liquid (Manganese Phosphate)

No more sludge!

● We want to keep the bonding solution (manganese phosphate) in a clean state at all times. We received a consultation from N.P. Corporation, a major surface treatment manufacturer, stating, "We want to keep the bonding solution sludge in the new line in a clean state at all times." Since it is a high-temperature and corrosive liquid, we selected the air diaphragm type filtration unit ADF and conducted a filtration demonstration to verify sludge removal. ● No more sludge! To keep the tank clean at all times, we performed filtration in a circulation method, and the samples of the bonding solution before and after filtration are shown in the above photo. Furthermore, we confirmed in on-site filtration experiments that we could completely remove sludge as shown below. [Case Study] Removal of Sludge Contained in Waste Acid

I want to filter the sludge contained in the waste acid to protect the equipment!

●Reusable PVC punching processing We received an inquiry from a certain industrial waste treatment plant, stating, "We want to remove the sludge contained in the waste acid to protect pumps and other equipment." Since there is a possibility of corrosion with metal materials, we custom-manufactured a filter made entirely of PVC. The user requested that the filtration system be reusable and washable, rather than using bags or cartridges, so we created a basket with PVC punching. The mesh size was also manufactured according to the user's specifications. ●Easy to clean. Denden bolt specification By using a denden bolt for the opening and closing of the lid, we devised a way for operators to safely and easily clean the strainer. The interior is completely sealed with a gasket, and the pressure resistance is designed to match that of the transfer pump. H2 has extensive experience in sludge removal at industrial waste treatment facilities and surface treatment plants.

A certain food company consulted us about updating their aging water supply equipment, specifically to install a filtration system that can easily filter out trace amounts of iron and sludge contained in well water, including a water tank and water pump.
