Delivery Case: Transfer of Adhesive (High Viscosity Liquid)

I want to transfer the adhesive from the one-gallon can so that women can work too!

●Improvement for Women to Work We received a consultation from Company B, a major manufacturer in Aichi Prefecture, stating, "We have been lifting adhesive (in a 20-liter can) to refill it at the top of the tank, but is there a way to transfer it using a pump?" The adhesive is a high-viscosity liquid containing ethyl acetate and toluene, and since it was in an explosion-proof designated area, we proposed an air diaphragm pump of the ADD type in stainless steel (SUS) specification. Given that the viscosity of the adhesive was 12,000 CP, we selected a 25A diameter to ensure a comfortable margin. The transfer was completed without any issues. Subsequently, to reduce operational noise, we added a higher-grade silencer, and we also custom-built a mounting frame (SUS) for the pump. ●Meeting User Needs We received positive feedback from the user, stating, "It was very helpful due to the company's policy of enabling women to work." Additionally, we proposed and adopted a dedicated hose fixing device because it was dangerous for the hose to come off when inserting it into the 20-liter can. Once the adhesive transfer is completed, the next step is to transfer the next 20-liter can, so we made it possible to change the hose with minimal contact with the chemicals.

【Delivery Example】400,000 cp High Viscosity Liquid Sanitary Transfer Device

High viscosity and capable of transfer under high pressure! Introducing a case study of a sanitary single-screw pump delivery.

A major chemical and cosmetics company consulted us about wanting to transfer a high-viscosity liquid of approximately 400,000 cp. Upon further inquiry about the application, they mentioned that they would mix several types of raw materials in a raw material tank, use it in an explosion-proof area, pump the mixed liquid to a bead mill, and that they required cleaning capability, temperature control, and pressure monitoring. Therefore, we selected the high-viscosity transfer pump "INPS-100," which excels in cleaning capability. Due to a very tight delivery schedule, existing agitator manufacturers could not meet the deadline, so we manufactured it ourselves. The impeller shape was made as a disc turbine type at the user's request. We calculated the rotational speed and gear torque, and accommodated it with an explosion-proof motor. [Case Study] Non-pulsating pressure delivery of high-viscosity paint for exterior wall coating.

Introducing a case study of a sanitary single-screw pump that meets the user's wishes in terms of delivery time and price!

A major housing manufacturer consulted us, stating, "We would like to transport high-viscosity paint mixed with patterned slurry at high pressure." They specified, "The water-based paint has a viscosity of about 50,000 CP," and "We need a pressure of 2.0 MPa for pumping," along with the condition that "pulsation-free operation is preferred." Based on these requirements, we proposed the sanitary single-screw pump model "INPS." It is possible to transport high-viscosity slurry liquids! Here are examples of air diaphragm pump deliveries.

A major paint manufacturer consulted us about wanting to transfer high-viscosity liquid from a stirring tank. Based on the conditions of "high-viscosity paint with a viscosity of about 10,000 CP," "a horizontal draw of 3 meters from the tank is required," and "transfer to the production machine after self-priming," we proposed the ADD type air diaphragm pump. After delivery to the user, we received a call saying it "doesn't suck." Upon discussing the situation, we found that the conditions for the liquid, air supply, and installation were all fine, and we were puzzled as to why it wasn't working. However, from the installation photos provided by the customer, it became clear that the suction inlet diameter was restricted. The pump diameter is 15A, but it was narrowed down to 9A. When we requested the use of a hose with an inner diameter of φ15, it began to self-prime without any issues, and we received words of gratitude. We received a request from a cosmetics manufacturing factory to transfer silicone oils, such as ester oils and cyclopentasiloxane, which have been thickened based on silicone oil. The viscosity varies widely, approximately 100 to 50,000 cPs, and the flow rate is around a maximum of 5L/min, so we proposed a special specification of a single-screw pump (INP type). They specified a liftable cart for use in various locations and applications, and we also integrated an inverter into the cart so that the operator can adjust the flow rate at hand. [Delivery Example] Transport of Viscous Slurry (Water and Oil-Free Explosion-Proof Specification)

I want to transport a viscous slurry in a harsh environment! Since exposing the resin is not allowed, we custom-made a cover.

We received a request from a major chemical company stating, "We would like to send a fluid mixture of solid matter at around 2000 cp (30% wt)." Upon further inquiry, they specified that the equipment must be explosion-proof, treated to prevent water and oil contamination, and require contamination-free conditions for product use. Additionally, they requested that the wetted parts be made of SUS or only PTFE if using resin, which was quite stringent. In response to these requirements, we selected the "SB-75" sanitary air diaphragm pump, and for the high-viscosity slurry, we proposed using SUS316 for the ball. While we selected PTFE for the pump body material, it was specified that exposed parts were not acceptable, so we custom-made a cover to encase everything in SUS. Since the piping connection was to be a 40 AJIS flange, we also manufactured an adapter to convert from a helix to a JIS flange. We received a contact from a steel company in Hokkaido stating, "We purchased an air diaphragm pump from Company Y, but it stopped immediately, and we are in trouble." Here is a case we handled. They wanted to transfer a liquid with a viscosity of about 3000 cp at a rate of approximately 25 L/min. The discharge was horizontal for about 2 meters and vertical upwards for about 1 meter (with a resin filter in between), while the suction side was horizontal for 1 meter. There are two major differences between our ADD and other companies' products, both of which are key points for transferring high-viscosity liquids. In this case, they later ordered two additional pumps of the same model as a repeat order, resulting in a highly satisfactory outcome. We would like to introduce a case where we successfully received an order after lending a demo machine to a major food company!

We received an inquiry from a major food company regarding the transfer of a highly viscous liquid, similar to fish paste, which has very low fluidity. The required discharge volume is also very small, approximately 2L/min, and it flows into the pump after being pushed through a high-pressure device (2Mpa), and is discharged at around 2Mpa as well. Additionally, the transfer temperature is quite challenging, exceeding 150℃, but we proposed the rotary lobe pump "JNH model." After lending a demo unit, we successfully received the order. 【Delivery Case】Transportation of Mud Pack Raw Materials

We received a request from a cosmetics factory in Western Japan stating, "We would like to transport mud pack materials." The viscosity was around 2000 mPa·s, and we confirmed the performance with a demo unit. Additionally, we received requests regarding the optional lifter, and we were able to meet all the various requests before delivery. The pump was selected to be air-driven, and the equipment was configured to operate and stop using a solenoid valve. Furthermore, we incorporated an "automatic operation" feature that receives a stop signal from the hopper at the pump's destination and stops automatically.
