I assisted in the installation of a solo exhibition at an international conference using 40mm square Maxima. Typically, when constructing tall structures or reducing the number of columns, thicker Maxima such as 80mm or 120mm square are used. However, this time, we built a structure with a height of 4 meters and beams extending up to 3.5 meters using 40mm square to meet the client's request. We adopted slender columns, and considering transportation and installation, the columns and beams were designed to be extendable and detachable. Since the tension of the fishing line and the weight of the exhibited items would be applied to the beams, we pushed the limits of strength. We planned to complete the transportation and installation of the exhibits in one day, and we were able to assemble and display everything successfully as scheduled, which seemed to satisfy the artist who placed the order. The "fabric frame" has been used on the ceiling of the event hall. The idea is to cover the ceiling of the art museum built in the park with white fabric and make it backlit, effectively turning the entire ceiling into a lighting fixture. The frame used is M1901 (for 120mm double-sided). The walls of the hall had irregular R-shaped sections, and those parts were bent to match the curvature of the walls. At the Natural History Museum, an event was held where Octalmina was used, so I would like to introduce it. The base is made using a double-sided M1901 frame with a thickness of 120mm. The LED lights are only on two sides of the long side frame. The design of the fabric contributes to this, but the presence of the LED lights enhances the overall appearance. We would like to introduce a case study using our system components at a vaccination site. The components used are the octagonal pole S108 and the beam Z400. The frame used is the M1935, which is 80mm thick and designed for single-sided backlighting. We would like to introduce a case study of office partitions implemented at Company C, which is relocating its office. We created partitions that fit perfectly in the new office space, opting for ceiling-mounted screws instead of base plates on the floor, and used adjusters and cushion rubber to maintain tension in areas where screws could not be applied. Additionally, for the room with a door, we adopted an aesthetically pleasing octagonal wall door. The frame was assembled on-site, with the same numbered frames matched together and the corner screws tightened using a ratchet. The wiring was simply plugged in with a one-touch system. Since it was fixed to a concrete and mortar wall, a pilot hole was necessary for the concrete plugs. An event was held at the Natural History Museum where "Octalmina" was used!! The base is made using a double-sided M1901 frame with a thickness of 120mm from Octalmina. The first point is that part of the Octalmina is designed to be openable!! The lower Octalmina frame has casters attached, making it function like a door. My guess is that since many VIPs seem to give speeches at this venue, they likely delivered their speeches on the podium in front of the photo, and at the end, the door was opened. The second point is that animals are emerging from the fabric!! Here is a case study of the "large backlit sign" used at the entrance of the exhibition. The fabric frames used are two types: M1901 (for Octalumina 120mm double-sided) and M1925 (for Octalumina 80mm double-sided). A total of 32 units of approximately 800mm square Octalumina are used. The 80mm thick frame and the 120mm thick frame are intentionally mixed, stacked randomly, and arranged at irregular heights to create a dynamic sign structure. The ceiling of the art museum built within the park is covered with white fabric, utilizing it as an internal lighting fixture to illuminate the entire ceiling. The walls of the hall had irregular R-shaped sections, and those parts were bent to match the curvature of the wall. The frame was used horizontally with white fabric attached to the underside for lighting. We would like to introduce a case study of the Octalumina 80mm thick frame single-sided installation. The Octalumina 80mm frame was introduced at a large-scale event. Since this was an outdoor event, we did not include LEDs inside and instead created it using the frame and fabric. The fabric is a rain-resistant light tarpaulin, and to prevent it from coming loose in strong winds, we attached aluminum composite panels to the back with silicone sewing. The fabric is wrinkle-free and the output quality is high.
