Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to a processing example where large drawn products and canning processed items are assembled by welding, and then further shaped using a large draw-forming lathe, with shape corrections made. First, the top part, which is the center, is processed by draw forming using a wooden mold. The drawn product is then assembled with fan-shaped can products using TIG welding. The welded product is further shaped through draw forming. While carefully correcting areas of poor precision in the canning processed items and any distortions caused by welding heat, the shaping is done meticulously, and the functional surface (outer surface) is polished to completion.
