[Grid Metal Method Case Study] Nukunoki Bridge Bridge Repair Work

Design load T-25 compatible and road width expanded to 8m! Repair and reinforcement work on the bridge using grid metal.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Grid Metal Method" that our company handles. We carried out bridge repair work on the Nyu-no-ki Bridge, a first-class bridge built in 1964, located on National Route 120. To accommodate the design load from T-20 to the current standard of T-25 and to widen the road from 7.7m to 8m, we reinforced the deck slab. [Case Study] Nice Pole/Slip Form Method

Introducing examples from a hardball baseball field in Kanagawa Prefecture and a chimney at the T Power Plant in Yamaguchi Prefecture!

We would like to introduce examples of the adoption of our "Nice Pole/Slip Form Method." In the renovation work (demolition and new construction) of an existing baseball field by Kawasaki City, a protective net pole was installed above the stands, reaching a height of approximately 30 meters above ground. This project is a two-phase construction, involving the manufacturing and installation of the poles and the complete work of net tensioning, among other tasks. Additionally, in the construction of an RC chimney at a coal-fired power plant, we adopted the "Slip Form Method," which is a safe and labor-saving method that allows for continuous construction of concrete walls. The height of the chimney is 165 meters, and the structure was constructed at a pouring height of approximately 2 meters per day. [Metal Road Construction Method Case Study] Nagano Prefecture Disaster Prevention and Safety Grant Project

It is possible to minimize the upload load with support piles! Here is an example from the road widening project on Nagano Prefectural Road No. 2 Kawakami-Saku Line.

A road widening project has been planned between the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Hozumi Power Station (Chikuma River Water Intake Weir) and the JR Koumi Line. The "Metal Road Method" was adopted, as it allows for a pile arrangement that takes existing structures into consideration, minimizes the impact of terrain alteration, and reduces the superimposed load on the supporting piles. Additionally, to mitigate the impact on adjacent structures from pile driving, a steel pipe pile continuous down-the-hole hammer method was employed. [Nice Pole Case Study] Hardball Baseball Field / Country Club

Introducing examples of renovation work (demolition and new construction) at hardball baseball fields and golf venues!

We would like to introduce examples of the "Nice Pole" that our company handles. At the existing hardball baseball field of Yokohama Sogakukan High School in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City, we replaced it with 18 galvanized poles with a height of 20 to 30 meters above ground. Additionally, the artificial turf was almost entirely replaced by another company, revitalizing the stadium. We would like to introduce a case where our "Super Jack System" for bearing replacement was adopted for a highway project. Traditionally, the operation of jacking up the superstructure during bearing replacement was done manually. This system allows one operator to control all hydraulic jacks, enabling construction without the need to assign personnel to each jack. In this project, we implemented the bearing replacement work by centrally and automatically controlling 26 hydraulic jacks. This is a reinforcement method for RC members using lattice steel plates (steel plates processed in a lattice shape). The reinforcement cross-section can be made thin, and it can reduce labor on-site.

Grid metal is a product that reinforces deteriorated RC structures by integrating with polymer cement mortar. By processing steel plates into a lattice shape, it allows for a thinner reinforcement layer, making on-site work more efficient. It is used for reinforcing the underside and topside of bridge RC slabs, repairing and reinforcing deteriorated box culverts, and reinforcing RC beams. High-performance seismic-resistant brace "J-UP Brace"

A buckling-restrained brace that sandwiches a core material transmitting axial force between a pair of steel mortar plates.
