Generally, spring materials are sold in coil form, and it is common to process them using machines; however, straight-cut materials are used in various applications, including the production of coil springs by hand winding and wire processed products. If you inquire about wire diameter, length, material, and quantity, our sales representatives will assist you. Additionally, if you have questions about the material or are unsure about the appropriate length, we will listen to your intended use and suggest the optimal material and length for your needs. In addition to standard spring materials, we also offer special spring materials such as Inconel and Hastelloy.

Our company has three dedicated spring testing machines, and we determine which testing machine to use based on the size and type of the spring for measurement. We have a spring testing machine capable of measuring spring constants, free length, initial tension, contact height, peak load and height, as well as automatic testing for 1-3 stage loads. Additionally, we use image dimension measuring devices when measuring angles, thickness, and lengths of wire processed products.

At Fusehatsu Industries, we provide surface treatment for springs that have not been treated yet. We can accommodate requests such as: - "I would like it to be plated to prevent rust." - "I would like it to be painted in a specific color." We offer a wide range of services, from general zinc plating and chromate coating to electrodeposition and powder coating. For example, when shipping overseas, hexavalent chromium may be prohibited due to its harmful nature. In such cases, we can provide alternatives such as trivalent zinc (trivalent white) or trivalent chromate. We also accept inquiries regarding resin coating, nylon, and sol-gel coating. Wire springs are also referred to as "wire forming." They come in various shapes and do not have a standard form. Wire springs can be processed in various ways, including press processing and welding. Generally, they are manufactured using multi-forming machines, but for small production runs, hand processing with dedicated tools is often more cost-effective. If you have any concerns regarding wire products, we can suggest manufacturing methods with excellent cost performance and produce original items even in small lots.

Ring springs have a simple shape, but their applications vary from precision components to more general-purpose ring springs. A representative of precision ring springs is the wire ring. Wire rings are important components used in manual clutches of automobiles. They have strict standards for roundness and flatness. Wire rings are welded at the cut ends after being coiled. Since the material of the spring is high-carbon steel, the welded area is very prone to breakage. Therefore, annealing is performed after welding. If the material is iron, sufficient strength can be achieved with welding alone without the need for annealing. In the case of wire rings that are not welded, changes in diameter begin after coiling, so if precise dimensions are required, each ring is individually straightened before shipment. As for general-purpose ring springs, there are double rings used for keychains and pinch rings used for clothespins. Depending on their application, they may or may not undergo heat treatment. Additionally, pinch rings that are coiled in large quantities are formed using dedicated machines for pinch rings.

We accept contract manufacturing of various original double torsion springs. Double torsion springs, also known as "double kick springs," come in various shapes depending on the installation method. A double torsion spring consists of two twisting coil springs combined together. If they act at the same angle, they can produce the force equivalent to two regular twisting coil springs. When using a single twisting coil spring, it is necessary to either increase the wire diameter to generate more force or increase the twisting angle, but this results in lower durability compared to double torsion springs. While it is possible to install two twisting coil springs, a double torsion spring that can handle the load with just one is more convenient to install. Additionally, stable installation is possible even without a guide rod, unlike twisting coil springs. Double torsion springs (return springs) used in automobile clutches are manufactured using special materials to ensure they do not break under repeated loads. Since machining can sometimes leave subtle scratches, they are still produced through semi-automatic hand processing by skilled craftsmen.

A torsion spring, also known as a "kick spring," comes in various shapes depending on the method of installation. A torsion coil spring can be used by winding the coil or unwinding it. Generally, it is used by winding the coil, which is superior for repeated loading. When using it in this manner, care must be taken because the coil diameter can change significantly when deformed under load, so if a guide rod is placed inside the coil for buckling prevention, there needs to be some clearance between the guide rod and the inner diameter of the coil. When using the coil unwound, there is an advantage of producing a greater force with the same torque. However, it lacks durability and wears out quickly, so it is not recommended for repeated use. Applications for torsion coil springs include common types with arms, such as rocking springs for chairs and hairpins for securing hair. Additionally, short hook-type torsion coil springs are used in futon clips that secure bedding to a pole when sun-drying. Furthermore, torsion coil springs used in home appliances often have very complex and precise shapes.

A tension spring, also known as a "pull spring," is a type of spring that bears tensile loads and is a representative of wire springs. The hooks of tension springs come in various shapes, with reverse round hooks and U-hooks being the most commonly selected. Each hook shape of a tension spring has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the design is carried out considering processing costs (difficulty) and hook strength. Tension springs are used in a variety of applications, from large ones like the tension springs attached to stairways used at airports to smaller ones used in relay switches. In everyday life, tension springs are manufactured for applications such as those attached to salon chairs and for motorcycle stands. Unlike compression coil springs, tension springs have an initial tension. Initial tension is the force created when the wire material twists in the direction of contact during coiling formation. The initial tension of a tension spring is a unique phenomenon that occurs when coiling is done through cold forming. Depending on the coiling method, the initial tension can be made stronger or weaker. However, to achieve zero initial tension, it is necessary to coil with a slight pitch, similar to compression coil springs.
