An essential component of sanitary piping design is the "diaphragm valve." At GEMU, we have been advancing the research and development of diaphragm valves for over half a century, with strong connections to the European pharmaceutical industry. During this time, we have focused on developing unique sealing systems and improving the mixing ratios of raw materials. The "angle seat valve" combines all of these features. Common disadvantages of widely used valves include: - In the case of ball valves, with each opening and closing, the material between the ball (valve body) and the valve body wears down. As wear progresses, it will leak from that area and no longer function as a valve. - In the case of solenoid valves, the flow path is complex and the pressure loss is significant, so while the solenoid valve itself is compact, it requires a large force from the pump. This is a valve that combines the functionality of a "sanitary valve" designed for aseptic applications and a "control valve" capable of precise flow control in very small amounts. The 553 type globe valve can connect valves together through modules. This not only reduces space in equipment and piping but also makes it easy to change piping methods. Additionally, the modules can rotate in 90° increments, allowing for flexible piping directions. It is ideal for applications such as fluid distribution, mixing, and aggregation.

The "GEMÜ Sampling Bottle" was born from the application of GEMÜ's block valve technology. Since the valve can be removed from the piping and transported along with the sampling bottle, the possibility of contaminating the liquid is extremely low, and the safety of the operator can also be maintained! Additionally, GEMÜ's block valve technology enables the reduction of piping space and achieves a dead leg of zero. It can be individually adapted to existing equipment, making it usable for any application (please check the detailed information section for individual adaptation examples).

Devices and components used in the United States and Canada, as well as those exported to these countries, must have the "UL certification mark." GEMÜ's position indicators (limit switches) and positioners (1436 eco cPos) have obtained the UL certification mark. By equipping these on valves, it becomes possible to use air-operated valves as "control valves."

The GEMÜ 1436cPos, when combined with GEMÜ's pneumatic control valve, becomes a compact control valve (proportional control valve). In addition to the general position control function, you can choose from two types of control functions for process control that allow flow control using only the 1436cPos without going through a PLC. ★ Position Control By inputting a 4-20mA signal for opening adjustment from an external process controller, the valve's position control is performed. ★ Process Control By directly inputting information from various sensors as a 4-20mA signal, it automatically controls against the set target value. Additionally, changes to the target value can also be made via external input of 4-20mA.

The GEMÜ1434μPos is a pneumatic positioner designed for position control of small globe/diaphragm valves. Despite its compact size of 95mm in height and 45mm in width, it offers high fluid control performance. It automatically initializes (auto-calibrates) simply by sending a DC24V signal, allowing for easy and quick operation without the need for complicated settings.
