"GD-HI" is a hydrophilic coating that forms a glass-like film. It is a room temperature curing type, and like other GD processes, it forms a SiO2 film with excellent adhesion and durability through a reaction, exhibiting excellent anti-fouling, cleaning, and anti-fogging properties due to its hydrophilic film with a contact angle of less than 20° and lubricity. Additionally, it has hydrophilic effects not only on metals but also on resins, rubber, glass, and other materials. 【Features】 ■ Hydrophilic ■ Curing temperature (°C): RT ■ Film thickness (μm): 0.5 to 1.5 ■ Film formation process: Reactive ■ Film appearance: Colorless and transparent *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"GD Coating" is a surface modification coating that achieves a thin, transparent, and high-release film, which was previously considered impossible. It can be applied not only to general molds but also to fine molds, as well as coatings for resin, glass, rubber, and other materials. This case study collection includes numerous examples of "fine molds and components" where a film with excellent adhesion is formed with a thickness of 20 to 80 nm, significantly improving performance without changing precision, as well as cases where film formation on pipes and tubes has become possible. Additionally, we introduce features of GD Coat's new technologies, such as ultra-wear resistance and contamination prevention films. *Currently, we are offering a free collection of case studies on "GD Coating." [Featured Examples] - Fine molds and components - Inside of pipes - Cutting edges of tools - Food hoppers - Metal masks *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"GD Coating" is a heat-resistant fluoropolymer coating that achieves strong adhesion and coverage by forming a chemical reaction layer through the fusion of composite processes. By integrating plating technology, painting technology, and metallurgy, it overcomes the challenges of conventional coatings (fluorine-based, ceramic-based, glass-based) to realize a thin film (40nm to about 1μm), transparency, pinhole-free quality, and heat resistance (500°C). The film forms an excellent single-layer membrane through reactions with the substrate, demonstrating superior performance (release properties, slip properties, non-stick properties, abrasion resistance, antibacterial properties, chemical and gas resistance, durability) compared to standard fluorine coatings. Additionally, due to its reaction technology, it can be applied to various materials (resins, rubber, glass) beyond metals. 【Features】 ■ Forms a chemical reaction layer through the fusion of composite processes ■ Achieves strong adhesion and coverage ■ Realizes a thin film (40nm to about 1μm), transparency, pinhole-free quality, and heat resistance (500°C) ■ Exhibits excellent performance ■ Applicable to various materials (resins, rubber, glass) beyond metals *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe current wafer plating equipment is predominantly vertical, and the usability of the jigs attached to the plating devices is poor, leading to many issues such as the following: - Parts must be constantly replaced due to erosion from the plating solution. - Poor electrical conductivity results in defective plating. - The structure takes a long time to set the wafers, hindering smooth operations. - Difficult to transport, making efficient movement challenging. Furthermore, there is a demand for improved production efficiency due to the increasing need for high aspect ratio compatibility (supply of metal ions, uniform liquid flow) and enhanced uniform film thickness. Our "Wafer Plating Equipment" is jig-free, horizontal, and upward-facing, allowing us to resolve the issues present in conventional products. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationAt GDLAB/Research Institute of Electroforming and Surface Modification Technology, we manufacture semiconductor and electronic components, contacts and contactors, mechanical parts, filters, optical circuits, pipes, springs, etc., using MEMS-related technology. As examples of prototypes, we have the "MEMS Micro Connector," which is created by master modeling through light shaping and making a replica with silicone rubber, and the "MEMS Micro Nozzle," which utilizes resist and electroforming technology for molding. Additionally, there is potential for application in medical components, where it is expected to serve as an alternative manufacturing method for opaque markers previously produced using large-diameter pipes made from platinum and tantalum through drawing processes. Previously, there was a risk of damage due to thick outer diameters, but by using electroformed products, various benefits can be achieved, such as avoiding vascular damage and reducing hemostasis time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Troubleshooting for Optical Disc Stampers" introduces a series of tests aimed at reducing "protrusions" in optical disc stampers while maintaining productivity. When polishing the back surface of optical discs, "protrusions" are cited as a cause of molding defects, signal surface bulging, and reduced shot counts. Through various processes such as finishing electroforming, reviewing filters, and selecting pit prevention agents, a long-term test over six months under final conditions resulted in a significant reduction in the occurrence of "protrusions," making it possible to address them with coarse polishing. [Contents] ■ Stampers made by nickel electroforming ■ Manufacturing process of stampers ■ Back surface protrusion defects ■ Protrusion reduction tests *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
