The laser safety device 'DSP-J' for press brakes was developed to protect operators from hazards during processing work with press brakes. The laser light emitted from the projector reaches the laser detection point of the receiver, creating protective areas in the front detection zone and the central detection zone, thereby safeguarding the operator's fingers in these two detection areas. Additionally, by selecting between the two operating modes (1 and 2) on the operation box, processing work can be carried out smoothly. The laser safety device for press brakes, 'DSP-AP-MCS', consists of the MCS control unit for operating and monitoring the system, the TX projector that emits a 'beam of laser light', and the RX receiver with nine light reception points. When the visible laser light directed at the reception points of the receiver is obstructed, the press brake stops.
