Our company, located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, established LABO in 2020, creating a system that allows for various research and analysis to be conducted in-house. LABO is equipped with facilities for surface observation, internal observation, and component analysis of molds and products using a scanning electron microscope, as well as various experiments including material properties testing with universal testing machines. At Nagoya Special Steel Co., Ltd. in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, we offer precision mold processing and possess many machine tools in our in-house factory. In particular, we have not only conventional 3-axis machining (vertical and horizontal) but also 5-axis machining centers and gantry-type 5-sided machining machines. We aim to achieve precision processing through semi-automatic machining with reduced setup times for aluminum die-cast engine molds and transmission case inserts. With processing using a gantry jig borer, we realize ultra-precision machining accuracy and also accommodate cutting processes for main molds using gantry-type 5-sided machining machines. 【Supported Sizes and Equipment】 ● Small to Medium Molds We can handle simple 4-axis machining using 3-axis machining and indexing from Yasuda Seiko. ● Medium to Large Molds - By utilizing synchronous machining with 5-axis machining from Harmle and Yasuda Seiko, we excel in maintaining high precision while achieving smooth surface characteristics on curved surfaces. - We are also working on achieving ultra-precision machining using the gantry jig borer (YBM-1530) from Yasuda Seiko. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
