HALLE Corporation has achieved very difficult manufacturing that allows the same profile to be repeated at a cut-off length, resulting in the creation of stable roughness standard pieces. This roughness master is used by manufacturers of roughness measuring instruments and metrology institutions around the world. It is of A-class, the highest precision. Additionally, there is a B-class available, which has a larger guarantee of repeatability and is set at a slightly lower price.

Three-dimensional measuring machine / A world-standard step gauge, Koba Step, used for the calibration of height gauges. It is possible to verify spatial accuracy using a stand and holder that can be set up at an angle. (Two-dimensional measurements are accumulated and reflected in three dimensions.) It ensures high wear resistance by using ceramic contact points and employs low thermal expansion materials, designed with usability in mind. This step gauge has high reliability and is also used by metrology institutes in various countries.

Measuring high precision right angles is quite difficult, but it can be easily measured manually. Measurements are taken based on the right angle with the end face after machining the cylinder and using the surface plate as a reference.
