"Yupikamat" is a non-woven foam fabric developed jointly by Toyobo Co., Ltd., Toyo Cross Co., Ltd., and Nippon Yupika Co., Ltd. as a core material for FRP sandwich laminates, aimed at improving workability, reducing weight, and lowering costs. It adheres very well to polyester resin and contains approximately 55% resin by volume. When an appropriate amount of polyester resin is impregnated, there is almost no change in thickness after curing. [Features] - By impregnating 55% resin by volume, a high-strength core layer is formed after curing. - The amount of polyester resin used is significantly reduced, allowing for cost savings. - Increased thickness results in higher rigidity. - Impact absorption and thermal insulation effects can be expected. - Higher bending strength, bending elasticity, and shear strength can be achieved. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
