Kakihara Industries, which has been advancing the development of processes using potassium permanganate aqueous solutions, has successfully established a technology that achieves stable plating performance even with complex-shaped resins. In the demonstration experiment line, the electroplating process has already transitioned to trivalent chromium, achieving a complete hexavalent chromium-free process across all plating stages. The "Water-repellent Coating Resin Plating" features high water-repellency due to its fluorine-based coating, preventing dirt from adhering. It prevents the surface adhesion of oil-based inks, and any adhered oil-based ink can be wiped off, making it effective against fingerprints and other oily stains with its "anti-fingerprint" and "wiping" properties.
