Yoshizawa Architectural Structural Design Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive design office that consistently handles everything from planning and design to construction and after-service for factory rebuilding and renewal in-house. There are various reasons for wanting to renew an aging factory or introduce new equipment, but the current situation is fraught with challenges, such as the inability to stop production, the costs associated with relocating to a temporary factory, and the resulting decrease in productivity. Our company employs methods like "Cover Build," which involves constructing a steel frame over the existing factory while keeping production equipment in place, and "Separate," which divides the construction period into phases (e.g., Phase 1 and Phase 2) to avoid a decline in operational rates during rebuilding. Additionally, to assess the potential damage buildings may incur during an earthquake, we conduct various seismic surveys, including crack investigations, concrete strength assessments, and rebar layout measurements. Based on the survey results, we propose seismic reinforcement plans. We focus on preserving the assets of companies, including buildings, machinery, materials, and products.
