The Delta Seal (HNV HELICOFLEX(R) DELTA) has two delta-shaped protrusions on the contact side of the cross-section. The delta-shaped protrusions are designed to collapse and disappear during the compression of the outer casing when integrated into the flange groove, and the design tightening pressure of the Delta Seal is lower compared to the Helicoflex seal, allowing for replacement with elastomer O-rings. Leakage rate: *For circular shapes, 10⁻¹² Pa·m³/sec. (10⁻¹¹ atm·cm³/sec.) *Depends on the quality of the installation side. The Technetics Group has developed a variety of high-performance metal seals as solutions for applications under severe conditions through extensive research in collaboration with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). The Delta Seal (HNV HELICOFLEX(R) DELTA) is particularly suitable for the stringent conditions required above. It has a lower design tightening pressure compared to standard helicoflex seals and copper gaskets for ICF flanges. It demonstrates its capabilities on a smooth sealing contact surface, achieving a higher level of ultra-high vacuum compared to other seals. We would like to introduce a case where our "HELICOFLEX Delta Seal" was adopted for seals used in canisters by a chemical company. The specifications for the chemical company's canister seals required reliability to achieve helium leak tightness under both vacuum and positive pressure, as well as excellent durability, which ruled out the use of resin or elastomer materials.
