The "Flow-type Microwave Synthesis Device" is a microwave device for continuous flow synthesis. The feature of this device is its uniform and rapid microwave heating of the flow channel. Therefore, it not only introduces a new heating method for continuous flow synthesis but also contributes to the scale-up of microwave synthesis, which has been difficult with batch-type microwave devices. Furthermore, this system provides a synthesis environment of up to 230°C and a maximum pressure of 2.5 MPa. We support our customers with the microwave and flow technologies and expertise we have cultivated so far. [Features] - Dedicated design for flow - Uniform and rapid microwave heating of the flow channel - High temperature and high pressure (up to 230°C & 2.5 MPa) environment - Safety mechanisms linked to temperature and pressure sensors - Lineup of reaction tubes for flow synthesis, including those for solid catalysts *You can download the English version of the catalog. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur "flow-type microwave synthesis device" can heat the entire system while flowing the target substance (liquid) through a glass serpentine tube, eliminating the need for multiple heating steps and enabling uniform heating. Using this device, we will introduce the reaction results and experimental methods for the synthesis of 2-allylphenol via a Claisen rearrangement reaction using allyl phenyl ether as the starting material. 【Overview】 ■ Under the conditions of microwave output 100W and flow rate 0.5 mL/min, using N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) as the reaction solvent (applied pressure ca. 1.7 MPa, ca. 290℃), the progress of the reaction was confirmed by TLC analysis, and the chemical structure of the product was determined by NMR analysis. ■ As a result, the disappearance of the starting material was confirmed, and the desired 2-allylphenol was obtained as the main product. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur "flow-type microwave synthesis device" can heat the entire system while flowing the target substance (liquid) through a glass serpentine tube, eliminating the need for multiple heating steps and allowing for uniform heating. We will introduce examples of experiments using this device, along with corresponding batch reaction experiments. [Overview] ■ After all raw materials are completely dissolved, nitrogen gas is bubbled for 5 minutes through a Pasteur pipette. ■ The supply of the cleaning solution for the device's flow path (DME:EtOH 1:1) is started, and microwaves are irradiated while waiting for the temperature to stabilize. ■ NMR measurements of the obtained mixture are conducted to calculate the yield of the product and the recovery rate of the raw materials. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
