Introducing examples of experiments using a flow-type microwave synthesis device!
Our "flow-type microwave synthesis device" can heat the entire system while flowing the target substance (liquid) through a glass serpentine tube, eliminating the need for multiple heating steps and allowing for uniform heating. We will introduce examples of experiments using this device, along with corresponding batch reaction experiments. [Overview] ■ After all raw materials are completely dissolved, nitrogen gas is bubbled for 5 minutes through a Pasteur pipette. ■ The supply of the cleaning solution for the device's flow path (DME:EtOH 1:1) is started, and microwaves are irradiated while waiting for the temperature to stabilize. ■ NMR measurements of the obtained mixture are conducted to calculate the yield of the product and the recovery rate of the raw materials. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【Example of a Corresponding Batch Reaction】 ■ Dissolve 1:247.2 mg (1.0 mmol), 2:252.2 mg (1.2 mmol), CsF:2.279 mg (1.5 mmol), Pd(PPh3)4:23.11 mg (0.02 mmol) (2.0 mol%) in 20 ml of a mixed solution of DMF:EtOH = 1:1 in a 100 ml round-bottom flask. ■ After all the raw materials are completely dissolved, bubble nitrogen gas through a Pasteur pipette for 5 minutes. ■ Under a nitrogen atmosphere, heat and stir at 80°C for 8 hours using an oil bath. ■ After removing the solvent by reduced pressure, dissolve in chloroform and wash with water. ■ Dry the chloroform layer with magnesium sulfate and filter off the drying agent. ■ Remove chloroform by reduced pressure and measure the weight of the residue after completely removing the solvent. ■ Perform NMR measurement of the obtained mixture and calculate the yield of the product and the recovery rate of the raw materials. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Sida FDS Co., Ltd. was established as the development division of the Sida Group, which consistently engages in "monozukuri" (manufacturing) to meet customer needs, from machining parts for machine tools and industrial machinery to the assembly of complete systems. Our goal is to develop and sell products that can be patented, not only in Japan but also globally. Moving forward, we aim to be a manufacturer that is needed by society through the development of our own products (such as environmental evaluation testing equipment and microwave irradiation devices for chemical applications).
