In the acceptance of parts, raw materials, and work-in-progress at the manufacturing plant, the actual items have labels from their respective suppliers attached, which do not match our company's management codes. Therefore, it is necessary to replace these with our own labels upon arrival. If the suppliers could attach our standardized company labels at the time of shipment, it would significantly reduce the labor involved during the acceptance process. Disadvantages of operating with traditional supplier QR code labels: (1) The information on the actual item labels varies by supplier. (2) Various tasks arise during acceptance, such as issuing our own labels, replacing them, and inputting records. (3) Scanning QR codes requires additional labor. Advantages of operating with standardized supplier RFID code labels: (1) Suppliers issue and attach standardized labels, reducing the labor required for issuing and replacing labels within our company. (2) RFID allows for automatic reading at the receiving gate. (3) Incoming records are sent to the center via the cloud.

Management of QR codes on pallets in logistics warehouses has become common. However, there are many issues where labels get dirty or damaged, making QR codes unreadable. Once a problem occurs, it requires contacting the center to request the reissuance of RFID tags linked to the labels, transporting them to the warehouse, and replacing the labels and tags, which is cumbersome. This case addresses such a complicated flow through the use of mobile printers. Benefits of implementing an app for reissuing QR code labels for logistics pallets: (1) Reissuance of costly RFID tags becomes unnecessary. (2) There is no need for communication with the center, allowing issues to be resolved on-site. (3) The time required for label issuance is reduced, improving work efficiency.
