Our executives will discuss "environmentally friendly printing" at the decarbonization online event "OZCaFTV" scheduled for August 28. "OZCaF TV" is a public-private collaborative information dissemination program that delivers timely information on decarbonization efforts by companies and government organizations, as well as topics related to SDGs, decarbonization, and DX, via YouTube live streaming, aimed at building a decarbonized society by 2050.

Kenbunsha is a printing company that is working towards a decarbonized society with its socially responsible print service, "Environmentally Friendly Printing." On June 6th (Thursday), we will be speaking at a decarbonization event hosted by the Kyushu Environmental Energy Industry Promotion Organization. The event will be held in a hybrid format, both in Fukuoka City and online. During our presentation, our Executive Officer will discuss our efforts towards environmentally friendly printing, including CO2 emission reduction. We will be presenting from 15:45 to 16:15. Participation at the venue (free) is limited to the first 50 people, and the application deadline is June 4th (Tuesday) at 12:00. On September 13, the "September 2023 Printing Month Printing Culture Exhibition" was held at Hotel New Otani, where the award ceremony for the "21st Printing Industry Environmentally Excellent Factory Awards" took place. During the ceremony, the Director-General of the Commerce and Information Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry presented the "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award" certificate to our Production Headquarters Director, and the factory manager of the Amagasaki plant was handed a crystal trophy. The Amagasaki plant had previously received the "Chairman's Award" in the 17th Environmental Excellent Factory Awards and the "Director's Award" in the 18th. The "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award" this time was granted in recognition of the plant's ongoing and enhanced environmental measures, as well as its efforts to promote SDGs in collaboration with the local community, and the company's overall commitment to CO2 reduction and visualization, which has been returned to society as "environmentally conscious printing." Moving forward, Kenbunsha will not rest on this high evaluation but will continue to strengthen environmental measures and improve services.
