We will visualize the CO2 emissions and reduction amounts in the lifecycle of printed materials.

Our factory operates as a "Carbon Zero Print Factory" utilizing 100% renewable energy, achieving virtually zero CO₂ emissions for Scope 1 and 2. The printed materials produced at our factory are environmentally friendly prints, and we can provide CO₂ emission data sheets with calculated CO₂ reduction values for each project, as well as issue carbon offset certificates. Additionally, as a member of the Japan Sustainable Printing Association, we are able to display a mark that certifies environmentally friendly printing.

The deepening and increasing importance of environmental issues. Kenbunsya contributes to society and the environment through initiatives aimed at carbon neutrality with "environmentally considerate printing."

Until now, Kenbunsha has been engaged in various environmentally friendly initiatives through printing technology aimed at cleanliness and energy conservation. As a result, in 2019, we received the highest award, the "Director-General of the Commerce and Information Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Award," at the 18th Printing Industry Environmental Excellence Awards. Additionally, we have been registered as an "Amagasaki SDGs Partner" by Amagasaki City in Hyogo Prefecture, where our factory is located. Based on this achievement, we will strive to further enhance our efforts in CO2 reduction and actively pursue initiatives toward carbon neutrality, aiming to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions entirely. The "Japan Sustainable Printing Association," established with the purpose of contributing to the healthy development of the printing industry and social contribution, promotes the dissemination of environmentally conscious printing, known as "environmentally friendly printing," and advances initiatives toward realizing a sustainable society within the printing industry.
