In the pressing and sake lees storage process, the pressing room tends to have high relative humidity due to a large amount of cleaning water, creating favorable conditions for the growth of bacteria and mold. By supplying low-temperature dried air from our product, the drying speed of indoor moisture increases, preventing the proliferation of bacteria and mold. Additionally, since our product is made of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic), there is no concern about corrosion. We would like to introduce a case study of our wet-type humidifier "Kasaba" implemented in the sugar manufacturing process. The produced sugars are cooled in a cooler and then stored in a sugar bin (silo) while undergoing aging (temperature and humidity adjustment). Granulated sugar and coarse sugar are prone to clumping when they contain too much moisture due to their crystalline state, and white sugar is covered with moisture-containing invert sugar, which can also clump if overly dried. Therefore, aging is performed with clean, sterilized humidified air provided by our product. Powdered seasonings tend to absorb moisture and become solidified in high humidity environments. While it is possible to lower relative humidity by raising the air temperature, if this affects product quality, our product is suitable for low-temperature, low-humidity environments. Additionally, freeze-dried foods and other low-temperature dried products can easily deteriorate in quality if they absorb excess moisture during packaging, before opening. We would like to introduce a case where our wet-type humidity controller, "Kasaba," was implemented in the manufacturing process of automotive laminated glass. Two pieces of glass are bonded together with a transparent interlayer (vinyl film) sandwiched between them. This interlayer is made of a material that is sensitive to temperature and humidity, so it requires a low-temperature, low-humidity environment for storage. Additionally, during the bonding process, if moisture is present on the adhesive surface, it can cause bubbles to form, which is why our product is used for dehumidification. Our product blows air with a relative humidity that corresponds to the concentration of the solution, as a characteristic of the Kassen solution. We would like to introduce a case study of our wet-type dehumidifier, "Kasaba," implemented at a steel mill (coil anti-rust yard). Coils that have completed the annealing process are transported to the cooling yard at around 100°C and cooled down to 40°C using air dehumidified by our product. During this process, the humidity in the coil yard is kept below 30% to prevent rust formation. Additionally, by cooling in a short time, we are able to reduce the processing time. Our product achieves continuous operation with a dew point temperature below 0°C, which cannot be achieved with conventional cooling dehumidification methods.
