The twin-screw extruder used to enhance the added value of plastic raw materials is called a compounding extruder. Our company manufactures the "TEX" series of twin-screw extruders to meet high-performance and high-quality demands. TEX is used not only for traditional inorganic fillers, masterbatch compounds, polymer alloys, and GF/CF compounds, but also for a wide range of applications such as reactions, degassing, dehydration, biomass compounds, long fiber compounding, and supercritical carbon dioxide compounding. "TEX-GEO" is software for twin-screw extruders that allows you to manage screw shapes used in production lines or laboratories as a database. It enables the editing, saving, and printing of screw shape diagrams, which were previously created by hand, in a clear style. "TEX-FAN" is a mixing simulation software that allows for easy analysis of pressure distribution, temperature distribution, filling rate, residence time, and melt state along the screw axis of a twin-screw extruder in a short amount of time. It can utilize screw shape data from the software "TEX-GEO," which manages screw shapes used in production lines or laboratories as a database. We are pleased to introduce a new type of die that incorporates advanced technologies, including the adoption of insulation structures, and has developed underwater pelletizing technology for high melting point engineering plastics. We have adopted an electric heater heating method that allows for the die to be heated and maintained at high temperatures of over 300°C. This eliminates the need for a separately installed heat source, enabling significant space savings and cost reductions. We will continue to develop various underwater pelletizers (UWC) for engineering plastics in the future. We are pleased to introduce the successful development of a continuous manufacturing process in the cosmetics field through the application of the high-speed twin-screw extruder 'TEX'. The manufacturing method involves the quantitative supply of main raw materials and various additives such as UV absorbers from a hopper, followed by the quantitative supply of fats from the middle of the cylinder via a pump for kneading and dispersion. By kneading at high speed, we obtain an emulsion-like product with a fine and uniform kneading dispersion state. We have developed a recycling technology for cross-linked plastics and cross-linked rubber, which previously had no treatment methods other than energy recovery through incineration or landfill, using "TEX." By equipping the system with a screen changer at the front, we can filter out debris that mixes with the crushed material. Additionally, the filter can be easily replaced during operation, allowing for continuous operation. Our company uses a twin-screw extruder called 'TEX' for one method of removing volatile components from polymers, known as de-volatilization extrusion. To meet the increasingly stringent requirements for reducing residual volatile content, we have developed a water-assisted de-volatilization extrusion technology. By injecting water as a de-volatilization aid, we can enhance the de-volatilization performance to levels (residual volatile content of several + ppm or several ppm) that were not achievable with conventional methods. Recycled paper is mainly referred to as recycled paper in the context of old paper recycling, but there are other uses for old paper, such as cushioning materials and packaging made by blending old paper with plastics, as well as various containers. The blending of old paper and plastics is one of the technologies that should be established urgently from an environmental protection perspective. In the recycling of old paper using an extruder, the various forms of old paper and their low bulk density result in poor feedability into the extruder. Additionally, since paper is fibrous, it tends to tangle easily, making it a significant challenge to uniformly disperse it into the molten plastics. The production of polymers such as rubber copolymers is generally carried out through methods like emulsion polymerization or solution polymerization. Traditionally, methods using a single-axis pre-dehydrator and an expansion extruder for drying were common, but we have now established a rationalization technology that processes everything with a single twin-screw extruder (TEX), which we would like to introduce. Typically, power transmission cables are insulated with super clean cross-linked polyethylene around the conductor, but in ultra-high voltage transmission (about 500,000 volts), charge concentration occurs in the insulating part, leading to the problem of cable failure during transmission. The "TEX Twin-Screw Extruder" is a dechlorination treatment device that efficiently thermally decomposes chlorine-based polymers in waste plastics and allows for the efficient removal of hydrogen chloride through a twin-screw extrusion method.
