[Development Case] Illuminance Sensor

Providing samples with characteristics for evaluation! Feedback on evaluation results in the customer's environment will be used to determine adjustment values!

We were designing a set using an illuminance sensor for a certain manufacturer, but due to the customer's specific optical design requirements, we were unable to achieve the desired light source dependency as intended by the customer. In response, our company produced multiple samples with finely tuned characteristics through small-scale mask modifications. These samples were evaluated by the customer, and an appropriate sample was adopted as a mass-produced product under the customer's environment. As a result, we were able to meet the customer's required sensitivity specifications and light source dependency through small-scale mask modifications, thereby minimizing additional costs. [Development Case] Photoelectric Sensor

Contributing to cost reduction through chip size reduction and package changes while maintaining the characteristics of existing products!

Due to the discontinuation of an LED from a certain manufacturer, the customer decided to redevelop the photoelectric sensor module, considering cost reduction. During the timing of the visit, where the customer was contemplating purchasing from two companies and requesting custom IC development, the flow for custom IC development was established. Using our process, we achieved characteristics similar to the current product. Since there were process differences, we implemented circuit modifications to obtain similar characteristics. Additionally, we made changes to the PKG pin count and size from the conventional product to achieve cost reduction. As a result, we obtained characteristics equivalent to (desired) those of the conventional product, which also led to the development of further derivative products. [Development Case] LCD Driver
