C/C composites are composite materials made of carbon fibers and carbon, while C/SiC composites are made of carbon fibers and SiC. Many carbon fibers are used as composite materials (CFRP) with resin as the matrix, but the heat resistance of resin has its limits. Our CMC materials, which combine carbon fibers and metal materials, possess features such as high rigidity, high heat resistance, high thermal conductivity, lightweight, wear resistance, and low dust generation, and are used as brake materials for mobility and components for industrial machinery. Additionally, we are also exploring high moldability and associated cost reduction while maintaining the characteristics of these CMC materials.
