We would like to introduce our lightweight technology, "Processing of New Materials." Recently, lightweight and high-strength materials are increasingly used in vehicle manufacturing, and new materials are emerging daily. In the processing of such new materials, prior research, process improvement, and post-molding analysis are essential. We are also faced with the challenges of improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions. The body structure is also required to undergo significant material changes to accommodate heavy items like batteries, including considerations for safety. At Topia, we have established a system to make optimal proposals by possessing all necessary equipment for these diverse materials.

• Prototype Services

The STAF (Steel Tube Air Forming) system is the world's first forming system that electrically heats pipe material within a press mold and injects high-pressure air into the interior of the pipe to shape continuous irregular closed cross-section members with integrated flanges. By rapidly cooling the material with the mold simultaneously during forming, it is possible to shape closed cross-section members using Press Hardened Steel (PHS). The unique one-pack forming process and the structure of continuous irregular closed cross-sections with flanges enable simplification of the process, as well as lightweighting and strengthening of components. *Information provided by Sumitomo Heavy Industries.

• Vehicle body parts

The "One-Piece Molding Hot Stamping" is a technology that enables weight reduction by eliminating the need for overlapping assembly, thereby reducing material usage. It achieves high performance and high rigidity of components, enhancing safety. Additionally, we offer a "Large Hot Press Heating Furnace for Delayed Fracture Response" measuring 3000mm x 2000mm, as well as "Multi-Material Welding" in our lineup.
