Free membership registrationWe have implemented an automatic measurement and inspection system using a Keyence 3D measurement probe system that can be simply measured manually. By mounting the probe on the end of an industrial robot and using teaching to make contact with the measurement points, we enable work to be done without human intervention. Each probing contact position is detected by the camera and automatically registered, judged, and exported as 3D coordinate data to the PC. In anticipation of automation, we can also accommodate operator-less automatic reading, selection, and measurement instructions from the previous process after consultation. Free membership registrationBy changing the dilution of water-soluble coolant to alkaline ionized water, effects such as prevention of putrid odors in summer, improvement of machining accuracy, and extension of tool life can be expected. Alkaline ionized water suppresses the growth of anaerobic bacteria and reduces the substances that cause bad odors. Both the number of anaerobic bacteria and the odor levels are maintained at lower levels compared to industrial water. Additionally, dilution tests were conducted using alkaline ionized water, tap water, and well water as the source water for the coolant concentrate. After a 7-day incubation test at 25°C, it was confirmed that the samples diluted with alkaline ionized water showed suppressed bacterial growth. Regarding rust prevention effects, compared to water, the lower concentrations of chloride ions and sulfate ions in alkaline ionized water help suppress rust formation.
