● Solving issues such as caramelization of powdered raw materials due to frictional heat with the shaft, wear on the shaft surface, contamination from packing, increased power load due to over-tightening of packing, toxic gases, leakage of contents, and low process efficiency due to leaks. ● Due to its simple structure, it can be installed without major modifications to existing equipment and is sufficiently capable of handling frequent replacements in sanitary environments.

Free membership registrationWe handle the "MECO Custom Shaft Seal" manufactured by Woodex Bearing. This product is a mechanical seal that can accommodate large shaft runout, which is often an issue due to significant loads on the blades at low speeds, making it an effective solution for shaft sealing in rotating equipment where conventional mechanical seals cannot be used. Most models are split-type and are custom-made to fit the user's equipment, allowing for changes from packing to be made in a short time without the need for on-site modifications or removal of motors. 【Features】 - Effective as a shaft seal for equipment where conventional mechanical seals cannot be used - Custom-made to fit the user's equipment - Allows for quick changes from packing on-site *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe handle the "MECO Custom Shaft Seal" manufactured by Woodex Bearing. This product is an effective solution for shaft sealing in equipment such as low-speed powder mixers, blenders, screw conveyors, and rotary valves, where the blades experience significant load at low speeds, leading to shaft runout that makes conventional mechanical seals unsuitable. Most models are split-type and are custom-made to fit the user's equipment, allowing for changes from packing to be made quickly on-site without the need for modifications or removal of motors. 【Features】 ■ Effective as a shaft seal for low-speed equipment where conventional mechanical seals cannot be used ■ Excellent sealing performance that prevents powder leakage ■ Custom-made to fit the user's equipment ■ Quick on-site changes from gland packing possible ■ Contributes to increased production efficiency and reduced maintenance costs ■ Compatible with vacuum equipment ■ Easy modifications and maintenance due to the two-part structure *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationA powder coating manufacturer in the American Midwest operates a rotary vacuum dryer for pigments used in powder coatings, which dries the moisture contained in the pigments, typically around 35%, down to 1-2%. The shaft seal employs a traditional method where a gland packing is pressed by a spring, designed to maintain reduced pressure and prevent powder leakage. However, the initial performance is only achieved for a very short period, making it difficult to maintain the desired reduced pressure. The process time for one unit takes about 8 hours, and the high abrasiveness of the powder leads to wear on the shaft, resulting in various issues. Therefore, we introduced the 'MECO Shaft Seal' that we handle. As a result, when the air pressure adjustment for purging is done correctly, the seal can completely maintain the reduced pressure within the device, reducing the process time to half, from 8 hours to about 4 hours. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationAt the factory, we have long been in a situation where we had to maintain a low speed on the product packaging line due to issues with powder leakage. Since the seal was integrated, it required disassembly of the bearing section during tasks such as replacing the seal's consumables, which previously took two workers about four hours. Therefore, we introduced the 'MECO Shaft Seal' that our company handles. As a result, this product operated without any trouble for six months, except for checking the purge pressure and fine-tuning the seal pressure. During the regular inspection of the conveyor line, the seal consumables were replaced as a preventive maintenance measure, and the time taken was only one hour. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of "MECO Shaft Seals" at W.R. Grace & Co. in Tennessee, USA. The company faced environmental issues and had to replace the gland packing every month, requiring two workers to spend one shift of 8 hours to replace four seals. Therefore, we introduced the "MECO Shaft Seals" that we handle. As a result, by replacing the four gland packings with our product, the environmental issues were resolved, and we also succeeded in reducing maintenance costs and machine downtime. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where the "MECO Shaft Seal" was implemented in a vacuum dryer at the pesticide manufacturing plant of E.I. Dupont de Nemours & Co, a group company located in Alabama, USA. At the company, the manufacturing cycle was up to one week, followed by a downtime of 3 to 4 days, and there were times when seal replacements had to be done three times within a month. However, the market demand for their products had increased even more, requiring higher production capacity. In response, we introduced the "MECO Shaft Seal" that we handle. As a result, the adoption of this product successfully improved the production efficiency of the vacuum dryer. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the "MECO Shaft Seal" at Blendex Corporation in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. At the company, sugar was heated and melted, causing damage to the seals of the mixers, which resulted in the need for extensive maintenance and frequent seal replacements. Therefore, we introduced the "MECO Shaft Seal" that we handle. As a result, the manufacturing schedule was able to fit into a normal four-day cycle, eliminating the need to extend working hours, which led to significant cost savings. Additionally, there was an improvement in work safety as there was no longer a need to climb ladders and desperately remove stuck gland packing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationA chemical product manufacturer was producing two types of compound resins by drying a paste with abrasive properties and was facing issues with seal leakage on the dryer’s shaft. To improve wear resistance and productivity, they decided to consider the introduction of a cost-effective seal that could maintain a vacuum state in the dryer. They implemented the "MECO Shaft Seal" that our company offers. As a result, this product maintains an excellent vacuum state, significantly reducing drying time. Additionally, the seal's surface pressure is automatically adjusted by a spring, eliminating the need for adjustments or maintenance, thus minimizing downtime. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
