Challenging the rapidly growing DCDC converter market driven by the expansion of the AI and EV markets ~ Accelerating the development of the North American market with the next-generation insulated "TriMagiC Converter" ~ Daiyamet Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashi-ku, Niigata City; President: Hiroshi Iii) will intensify its efforts to develop the North American market, leveraging its core strength in next-generation insulated DCDC converter circuit technology, the "TriMagiC Converter." The company will exhibit at APEC 2026, one of the world's largest international conferences on power electronics, held in San Antonio, Texas, USA, from March 22 (Sunday) to March 26 (Thursday), 2026. At the exhibition booth, various prototype circuit boards (PoL, 1.6kW, 3.3kW models) featuring the circuit technology of the "TriMagiC Converter," equipped with the company's powder core in the transformer, will be displayed, along with powder core products for transformers and resonant coils. Additionally, case studies of PoL converters resulting from collaborative research with the Yamamoto Laboratory at the Institute of Future Materials and Systems, Nagoya University, National Institutes for the Humanities, will also be introduced. Daiamet Co., Ltd. will exhibit at the "TECHNO-FRONTIER 2025 40th Power System Exhibition" held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 23 (Wednesday) to July 25 (Friday), 2025. At this exhibition, we will introduce various prototype boards and core products, focusing on our unique magnetic material "Powder Core (MBS)" combined with circuit technology, featuring the new insulated DC-DC converter "TriMagiC Converter." Particularly noteworthy is the prototype unit achieving a conversion efficiency of 97.2%, which will be unveiled for the first time, with a power output of 1.6kW. Additionally, we plan to introduce the PoL converter, which we have recently begun joint research on with Nagoya University. Furthermore, during the exhibition, our senior advisor and developer, Mitsuaki Fujimoto, will provide a technical explanation of the new technology "TriMagiC Converter" in a seminar for exhibitors. This seminar will clearly present the technology of insulated DC-DC converters that achieve unprecedented miniaturization and high efficiency through the use of magnetic cores with low permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density, covering the background of development, operating principles, and prototype examples. Daiamet Co., Ltd. will exhibit at the "Automotive Technology Exhibition 2025 YOKOHAMA," which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama from May 21 (Wednesday) to May 23 (Friday), showcasing our latest technologies in sintered machine parts and sintered oil-impregnated bearings, as well as our new insulated DCDC converter circuit technology "TriMagiC Converter (TM)" that simultaneously achieves high power, high conversion efficiency, and miniaturization. The "TriMagiC Converter (TM)" utilizes our proprietary magnetic material "Powder Core (MBS (TM))" for transformers and resonant coils, combined with our uniquely developed high-performance insulated DCDC converter circuit technology, resulting in significant miniaturization and efficiency improvements compared to conventional circuits. We will display a circuit board (prototype) equipped with this technology at the venue. Additionally, we plan to showcase a thin motor, the "Axial Flux Motor," which also applies the Powder Core (MBS (TM)) and achieves both high torque and high efficiency.
