We would like to introduce a case study of the development of a "wine aging device" at a major corporation. The customer requested that they already had an image of the product design and wanted us to consider how the actual manufacturing could be done, aiming for a product that conveys a sense of luxury. Therefore, we explored various materials without being limited to plastic, including metal, wood, rubber, and others. We would like to introduce a case study of the development of a "circuit board holder" at a major corporation. We received a request from a customer to manufacture a component that guides and holds circuit board units, as well as to improve noise generated from the electrical properties of a metal frame. In response, we considered the resinification of the metal frame and proposed three structural design patterns: "integrated type," "PP hinge type," and "split type." We communicated the advantages and disadvantages of each option to present choices to the customer. The customer requested structural design based on the already determined electrical components within the device, and asked us to consider how to present the corporate logo in a way that conveys a sense of luxury. In response, we also designed the shape of the replacement parts, ensuring that the overall design remained intact. For the logo, we proposed high-brightness ink for silk printing and handled color matching. The customer requested a design that resembles a mirror but wanted to explore the possibility of using resin, and asked for the battery to be designed for easy removal. We presented multiple proposals regarding the battery removal structure and usability. For the mirror part, we suggested materials that pursue how to make resin look like a mirror.
