GT-SUITE is a multiphysics system simulation platform that allows for the integrated analysis of physical phenomena such as heat, fluid, mechanics, electricity, chemistry, and control in a single environment. It supports multiscale analysis from 0D/1D to 3D, allowing for flexible selection of analysis accuracy and computational speed according to the purpose, from components to entire systems. In addition to a rich library of physical models and a fast solver, GT Intelligence Studio, which utilizes machine learning and generative AI, streamlines model building, performance prediction, design exploration, and optimization. It supports a wide range of fields, including automotive, construction machinery, industrial machinery, aerospace, energy, and data centers, helping to shorten development periods, reduce prototyping costs, and realize MBSE and digital twins.

With the spread of generative AI, data centers are experiencing increased GPU density and rising power demands. In particular, AI clusters where GPU loads fluctuate dramatically in milliseconds have significant impacts on both cooling systems and power systems. Such transient phenomena are not adequately captured by designs based on traditional steady-state assumptions, making it challenging to achieve stable operation while meeting PUE targets. In this webinar, we will introduce a method using Gamma Technologies' GT-SUITE to couple everything from chips and cold plates to CDU, chillers, UPS/BESS, and power systems into a single model. We will analyze how cooling, control, and electrical transients interact during sudden load increases and decreases, and explain design approaches aimed at achieving both stable operation and energy efficiency.
