Rough surface processing (laser roughening) is equipment that performs rough surface processing inside engine bores using lasers. This is done to enhance the adhesion between the base material and the thermal spray material. Moreover, the need for high-precision finishing of bolt holes is eliminated, allowing the process to be consolidated to less than two-thirds, achieving significant cost reductions. Cracking of Bearing Caps Five bearing caps, integrally cast as a whole block, are simultaneously fractured. The cracking process is similar to that of connecting rods, resulting in significant strength improvements and cost reductions.
