Additionally, at low temperatures, their impact resistance decreases further, making them more prone to cracking, which has been a problem particularly in cold regions. Therefore, the material has been improved, significantly enhancing the performance against impacts, resulting in the HIVP pipe. ■ Reasons for the strength of HIVP pipe Standard PVC resin is mixed with impact resistance modifiers (such as ABS, MBS, EVA, acrylic rubber, and chlorinated polyethylene, which have rubber-like properties) as reinforcements.
