AMPTS III automates and simplifies a wide range of tests, including biochemical methane potential (BMP) tests for digestate slurry, biogas potential, anaerobic biodegradability tests, specific methane activity (SMA) assays, and residual gas potential (RGP) analysis. It can measure the true biogas and methane potential, as well as dynamic degradation profiles for all biomass substrates.

There is a supply port for replenishing raw materials and a discharge port with a ball valve for discharging slurry, allowing for continuous experiments. The stirring device can set the rotation speed and direction. The pipe connection uses a tri-clamp method, making it easy to connect and disconnect.
