By equipping our uniquely developed "non-needle thin film electrode ION BLADE," we have successfully achieved overwhelming miniaturization, enabling installation in previously impossible narrow spaces, such as between rollers during the transport of LCD glass substrates and films, allowing for charge removal from below. With conventional needle-type ionizers, it was necessary to maintain a distance of about 300mm to reduce the potential amplitude that could lead to ESD damage. This requirement made air purging essential to ensure charge removal performance, resulting in additional costs for compressor electricity and equipment. The B1 series has minimized the potential amplitude to the extreme, allowing for proximity installation as close as 5mm. Additionally, the ION BLADE generates ions uniformly through surface discharge, providing a high concentration of ions without unevenness, thus achieving efficient charge removal. This resolves the dilemma we previously faced and contributes to reduced electricity costs by enabling airless proximity installation. Furthermore, the B1 series eliminates concerns about dirt caused by electric field concentration at the needle tip, making the previously labor-intensive cleaning tasks unnecessary and contributing to lower running costs. Additionally, the issue of particle drop from the needle tip is also resolved.
