We provide precision machining technology cultivated through aerospace components. 【Features】 ○ Wire Electrical Discharge Machining This method uses a thin wire as a machining tool, running it under tension while generating discharge between the workpiece and the electrode. The discharge energy processes the workpiece in a manner similar to a wire saw. ○ Die-sinking Electrical Discharge Machining For example, if a star-shaped machining tool is prepared, it can directly create a star-shaped hole. In this case as well, discharge is generated between the workpiece and the machining tool (electrode), processing the workpiece. Since the shape of the machining tool (electrode) is directly transferred, it is possible to machine even somewhat complex shapes by creating an electrode in the desired shape.

Water is injected from a small-diameter nozzle at ultra-high pressure (245–343 MPa) to perform cutting using the kinetic energy of a high-speed water jet (jet stream). 【Features】 ○ The injection speed of the ultra-high pressure water, pressurized by an ultra-high pressure pump, reaches three times the speed of sound (approximately 700–800 m/s), allowing for cutting various materials into free shapes regardless of hardness or size. ○ There are two methods: "Aqua Jet Cutting," which uses only ultra-high pressure water for cutting, and "Abrasive Jet Cutting," which mixes abrasive materials with ultra-high pressure water for cutting. ○ By incorporating abrasive materials, cutting capability is enhanced, enabling processing of hard materials. ○ This cutting method generates no heat and does not affect the mechanical properties or quality of the material. ○ Unlike lasers, there is no stress, thermal impact, burrs, or deformation on the material, allowing for cutting that feels as if it were done with scissors. ○ It is capable of cutting through thick non-ferrous metals, composites, stone, plastics, cushioning materials, and any other materials.

○5-Axis Machining We perform complex cutting processes using a 5-axis machining center. There are three types of electrical discharge machining: shape cutting discharge machining, wire discharge machining, and fine hole discharge machining, each utilizing its unique characteristics. It allows for high-precision machining of complex shapes, such as curved surfaces and spheres, regardless of hardness, as long as the material is conductive, even for hard materials, hardened materials, and difficult-to-cut materials that cannot be removed by conventional machining machines. Cutting with a "water jet" generates no heat due to its non-contact processing, eliminating thermal effects that can be problematic for aerospace components, so there is absolutely no alteration or discoloration of the target object. Most materials that are not thin glass, which can be damaged by water pressure, and are unaffected by moisture can be cut. Electrical discharge machining repeatedly causes insulation breakdown in a liquid, shaping the product along the electrode. Normally, the machining debris would float in the liquid and be expelled externally, but when discharge occurs with the suspended sludge, the heat melts the sludge, which adheres to areas other than the intended machining section. This is referred to as "spatter adhesion," and it is a contributing factor to the adhesion. For components used in aerospace parts and similar applications, machining is performed without producing spatter. This time, we used titanium, which is commonly used as a material for aerospace components, and measured the surface roughness after performing wire cutting with the following number of passes on the same surface: 1 time, 3 times, 4 times, and 6 times. Typically, only the 1st cut is done, but if the machining drawing requires a specific surface roughness, it may be passed through multiple times.
